In Episode 5 on my Vodcast I speak on Passive Communication Style.

Typically, it is a style where individuals have developed a pattern of avoiding expressing their opinions or feelings, protecting their rights, and identifying and meeting their needs. As a result, passive individuals do not respond overtly to hurtful or anger-inducing situations.

It can be useful in specific contexts, particularly for conflict avoidance, de-escalation and respecting others' views. For effective interactions, balancing passive communication with assertive techniques is crucial, as this helps build healthier, more transparent relationships and enables individuals to meet both personal and collective needs.
